Gray's late goal secures a tie for Highlanders.




Doherty 1, St. John's 1: Junior Doug Binnie scored early in the second half for the Pioneers in their opener at Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium, but junior Victor Gray tied it in the 68th minute for the Highlanders (0-1-1).

AMSA 2, St. Peter-Marian 0: Domenic Cianci and Igor Pessoni scored to lead the Eagles (1-1) past the visiting Guardians (0-2) in Marlboro.

Assabet 6, Nashoba Tech 0: Jose Mesa scored twice, and Victor Estrella, Jim Kapsimalis, Josh Moylin and Pablo Salcedo also tallied for the visiting Aztecs (1-0).

Auburn 6, Uxbridge 2: Rob Anderson had four goals and an assist to lead the host Rockets (2-0) over the Spartans (0-2).

Bancroft 2, Gann Academy 0: Nahun Ha and P.J. Lindonde scored to lift the host Bulldogs over the Red Heifers in the opener for both teams.

Clinton 3, Ayer 1: Aron Martin's penalty kick goal 21 minutes into the second half won it for the host Gaels (1-1, 1-0 Mid-Wach D).

Phelipe Bispo and Igor Rosa also scored for Clinton.

Brian Bechara scored in the second half for Ayer (0-2, 0-1) to tie the game.

David Prouty 6, Southbridge 1: Senior captain Zack Marderossian had three goals to lead the Panthers (1-0) past the host Pioneers (0-2).

Lucas St. Germain scored for Southbridge.

Keefe Tech 5, Valley Tech 1: Nick Enright scored twice to lead the visiting Broncos in their opener.

Rob Poirer scored for the Beavers (1-2).

Leicester 5, Quaboag 0: Justin Kachadoorian had two goals and an assist, Mat Tyndal added a goal and an assist and Robert Hyland made five saves for the visiting Wolverines (2-0).

Maynard 6, Narragansett 1: Ryan Folwer and Matt Kiley each scored twice to pace the visiting Tigers (1-1).

Seth Leslie had the goal for Narragansett (0-1).

Millbury 4, Oxford 0: Sophomore Alfred Koromasol scored three goals to lead the host Woolies (1-0) over the Pirates (0-2).

Oakmont 2, Gardner 0: Matt Robillard and Jonothan Streeks scored for the host Spartans (2-1), who shut out the Wildcats (0-2).

Parker Charter 6, Bay Path 0: Senior Gabe Ferreira had three goals and an assist for the host Panthers (2-0). Eighth-grader Mitchell Wheeler added a goal and an assist. The Minutemen are 0-1.

South 5, Leominster 2: Derrick Boateng scored three goals, including the winner for the visiting Colonels (2-0) at Doyle Field. Boateng also assisted on goals by Eric Opoku and Matthew Nyuayea. Jerry Tamfu scored both goals for the Blue Devils (0-2).

Tantasqua 3, Bartlett 2: Myles Gaudet's goal in the 73rd minute capped an impressive comeback by the visiting Warriors (2-0-1).

The Indians (0-1) led, 2-0, early in the second half on goals from Nick Kobel and Evan Anderson, but Tantasqua's Isaac Nichols scored twice to tie it.

Tyngsboro 2, Littleton 0: Tyler Coene scored in the 35th minute and assisted on Austin Boisvert's goal in the 56th minute propelled host Tyngsboro (2-0) past Littleton (1-1).
