NORTHBRIDGE Hilda M. "Mim" (Nash) Roy, 86, of Northbridge, died peacefully in the arms of her devoted granddaughter, Jane, in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Westborough, on Saturday, September 4, 2010, after a long illness.

Her husband of 48 years, Emile R. Roy, died in 1992. She leaves two children: Christine O. Brouillard and her husband, John L. Brouillard, of Northbridge, and John W. Roy and his wife, Barbara J. (Gorman) Roy, of Sutton; six grandchildren: Jane C. Mason and her husband, Jeffrey, of Northbridge, Anne E. Tashjian of Charlton, Robert J. Brouillard and his wife, Christine (Soden) Brouillard, of Worcester, Elizabeth M. Bennett and her husband, Brent, of Holden, Melissa A. Roy of Hilton Head Island, SC, and Matthew J. Roy of Sutton; 6 great-grandchildren; three brothers: William Nash of New Milton, Hants., UK, and Raymond Nash and John Nash, both of Bristol, UK; and nephews and nieces.

She was born in Bristol on August 20, 1924, a daughter of the late William and Olive (Ellsworth) Nash, and she emigrated to the United States in 1946, settling in Northbridge. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth E. Roy of West Boylston, in 1984, by a granddaughter, Alison M. Roy of Sutton, in 1982, and by a sister, Olive Hoyle of Bristol.
