James Patrick HughesPalm Bay, Florida - James P. "Hoover" Hughes, 69, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Jim was born in Clinton, NY on March 9, 1946. Jim was the son of James and Wilma (Ankin) Hughes. Jim leaves behind his loving sister and caregiver Carolyn Hughes of Palm Bay, Florida, his brother Patrick and sister-in-law Michele of Dallas, Texas, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Mr. Hughes spent the majority of his youth and adult life in and around Worcester. He attended St. Paul's Elementary School and South High School. He completed his High School education in Clinton, NY being named an All American Athlete in Ice Hockey and was later inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in Kirkland, NY.
