Jennifer K.

WESTBOROUGH - Jennifer K. (Hastings) O'Connor, 35, of Westborough and formerly of Auburn, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, Worcester, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She leaves her best friend and loving husband of three and a half years, Ryan J. O'Connor; her beloved parents, Terrance J. "Terry" and Martha J. (Rogers) Hastings of Auburn; her sister, Amy M. Messina and her husband Marc of Auburn; her nephew and niece, Thomas and Caroline Messina; and her in-laws, Patrick M. and Gail A O'Connor of Northborough, as well as several uncles, aunts, many cousins and dear friends.

Jennifer was born in Worcester, Ma. She spent her childhood and younger years in Auburn. She graduated from Auburn High School, Class of 1994, then went on to Providence College, where she graduated in 1998, and later earned her Master's Degree. Jennifer spent much of her career as an admissions counselor, first for Rivier College in Nashua, NH and then for the last 11 years at her Alma Mater, Providence College where she held the position of Associate Dean of Admissions.

During her career at the college, she traveled extensively throughout the United States and in Europe representing Providence College's Admission Department.
