Senior soccer goalkeeper Karine Almeida leads the Commonwealth Coast Conference with five shutouts. She ranks second in saves, save percentage and saves per game.

Sophomore soccer goalkeeper Lauren Keating had a nice week, making eight saves in a 1-1 overtime tie with Saint Rose and shutting out New Haven. ... Senior captain Rob Younker shot 73-78 to lead the Greyhounds golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Northeast-10 Championships at The Orchards in South Hadley.

Becker

Senior John DiNardi, who shot a 75 to earn medalist honors and lead the Hawks to a team win at the Becker Bi-Match, was named the NECC Golfer of the Week.

Clark

Meghan Lennon totaled 11 points with five goals and an assist to help the Cougars' field hockey team to two wins and was named NEWMAC Player of the Week.

Holy Cross

Junior Thomas Booth was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week. Booth posted his fifth shutout, making five saves. in a 1-0 win over Colgate. ... The men's and women's tennis teams will play for the first time on the new HC courts Sunday against Hofstra. Former Notre Dame Academy star Emily Marr of Holden has begun her college career 3-1. ... There was a terrific Holy Cross contingent at Sunday's Walk to Cure Cancer at UMass Medical Center. Nice job.

Nichols

Senior Brittany Case, who lifted the Bison's field hockey team over Castleton State by scoring the tying and winning goals, was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. ... The women's soccer team went 4-0 with three shutout wins last week and outscored opponents, 27-2.
