John A. George.

WORCESTER John A. George, 98, formerly of Worcester and Auburn, died on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Beaumont of Northbridge.

He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Dorothy (Lambe) George; his two sons, Tommie J. George of Northborough, Gary S. George of Leicester; 7 grandchildren; 2- great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Born in Korce, Albania in 1913 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1932. After living in Philadelphia and New York, he later joined the U.S. Army and served as a Medic during WWII, stationed in Italy and Northern Africa. He owned and operated the Spanish Grille on 703 Main Street from 1940's to the late 1970's and was known as "Little John."
