The Battle of Breezy Bend has lived up to its name recently, and this year should be no different. The Wolverines (7-3) are looking to avenge last year's loss to the Panthers when Zach Grasis rushed 27 times for 160 yards and a score to earn MVP honors as David Prouty went on to the playoffs. This year, Leicester hopes to use a win on Thanksgiving to boost itself into the postseason, as junior Nick Kenneway leads a balanced attack. Kenneway has racked up more than 800 yards on the ground behind a strong line led by Ryan Green and Mason Chapman, while senior Tyler Goodney, junior Keem Minton and senior Mike Ferraro have been top targets in the air. After sophomore quarterback Drew Mazzeo (43 of 79, 646 yards) went down with a shoulder injury, junior Nick Wilson has filled in well under center, throwing for more than 400 yards. The Panthers (5-5) will be tough to stop as 1,000-yard rusher Brandon Comeau is coming off a 144-yard performance against St. Bernard's, while Marc Lamoureux (880 rushing yards) needs to be contained. Prouty also boasts one of the top linebackers in Pat Ricard, who leads the team with 62 tackles and has two sacks. Tyler Huard grabbed his team-high fourth interception against the Bernardians.
