MILLBURY - A review of town records has found there is one liquor license available to offer to an eligible restaurant in town.

Town Manager Robert J. Spain said Thursday that he has gone through town records, reviewed what the Legislature previously passed for the town, compared that information with what the state believes is available and has concluded that the town has one liquor license available.

The liquor license will be offered to whichever qualified establishment steps forward first.

The town's newest restaurant, Calabria on South Main Street, has been looking for a liquor license since it opened last year. The available license will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
