The Worcester Police Department invites the public to its monthly Upper Lincoln Street Business District Crime Watch meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Joan of Arc Parish, 570 Lincoln St. Officers Ken Carville and Gerry O'Connor will talk about the WPD's Crime Watch and ShotSpotter initiatives.

A free workshop on "Make Your Biz Better with Online Marketing'' will be given at 6:30 p.m. at Chitika, 1800 West Park Drive, Suite 300, Westboro.

Staff and professionals from Cidewalk and Chitika, oniline and mobile-advertising companies, will lead the small-business workshop, which is part of a series offered by the Westboro Economic Development Committee as part of the Shop Westborough Initiative.

Commerce Bank will host a free financial education workshop, open to the public, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the bank's main office, 386 Main St., Worcester.

Presented by Money Management International, the workshop will focus on ways to better manage personal finances, including tracking expenses, creating a budget, avoiding the dangers of easy credit and reading a credit report.
