SHREWSBURY Lt. Col. James M. McLellan, 84, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Marlborough, died Friday, October 10th at St. Francis House.

He was born in Somerville, son of the late John and Florence (Chisholm) McLellan. He was a graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 1942.

He joined the Army Air Corp in WWII and retired as U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. In 1969 having also served in Korea and during and cold war. He was awarded Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Cluster and (4) air medals.

He is survived by 2 sons: James McLellan of Burke, Va and John McLellan of Topham, Me., a daughter Kathy Plunkett of Holidaysburg, Pa.

He is also survived by 2 brothers: Neil D. McLellan of Rutland and Charles McLellan of Marlborough, 2 sisters; Catherine A. Fitzpatrick and Florence M. McNiff, both of...
