BOSTON -- Evgeni Malkin scored his second goal of the night 32 seconds into overtime, giving the Pittsburgh Penguins a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Monday.

Sidney Crosby had a goal and two assists, including a crossing pass for Malkin's one-timer past goalie Tuukka Rask. Kris Letang had two assists for the Penguins, who had lost their last two against the Bruins.

Marc-Andre Fleury recovered after Boston scored two quick goals early in the second period and finished with 27 saves.

The Bruins had chances during a couple of scrums in front of Fleury late in regulation but could not get the puck across the goal line.

Malkin scored on a power play with 10:18 left in the second, tying it 2-2 off passes from Crosby and Letang.

Letang also assisted on Crosby's goal 3:33 into the first period that gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead.

Rask finished with 30 saves for Boston.

Joe Morrow had his first career goal, and Milan Lucic also scored as the Bruins quickly went from down 1-0 to a 2-1 lead.

Lucic ended his five-game scoreless slump when Loui Eriksson set him up with a pass into the slot 1:43 into the second period.

There wasn't a Pittsburgh player near Lucic, who had time to corral the puck and set up an easy tap-in as Fleury tried to get back in position.

Boston took a 2-1 lead 28 seconds later when Morrow scored on a long wrist shot from above the circle that Fleury couldn't follow through a screen.

The Bruins had an apparent goal waved off in the first period after Patrice Bergeron batted the puck out of the air into the net.

One referee called it a goal, but the other three officials said Bergeron's stick was above the crossbar. The review was inconclusive, and the no-goal call stood.
