Michael C. Naum 1967 - 2009.

WOODSTOCK, CT Michael C. Naum, 41, of Joy Road died Friday June 26, 2009 with his family by his side after a long and courageous journey with cancer. He was the loving husband of Genevive (Kwok) Naum. Born in Putnam, CT, he was the son of James and Anna (Noiseux) Naum of North Grosvenordale.

Mr. Naum was a 1991 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. He was also a 2008 graduate of the American Military University where he earned his master's degree in Strategic Intelligence. In February 2008, as a student at AMU, he was selected to speak at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on his course work. During his brilliant career in the engineering field, Mr. Naum worked for such companies as Sun Microsystems where he held several patents. In 2002, he founded Silicon Dimensions Inc. serving as its CEO and CTO. In 2006, he joined Advanced Micro Devices. Outside of his academic and professional careers, Mr. Naum had many interests.
