Randy Moss only saw three passes come his way in yesterday's 38-30 win over the Bills - a far cry from the 10 times he was targeted in a Week 2 loss to the Jets.

But, boy, did he make the most of his opportunities.

Moss had two catches, both good for touchdowns. The first covered 7 yards in the first quarter; the other 35 yards in the third.

Moss now has 151 career receiving TDs. He's the second NFL player to reach that milestone, the other being Jerry Rice (197).

It was the 36th time in his 13-year career Moss has caught at least two TDs in a game. Only Rice (44) had more.

Moss now has 50 touchdowns as a Patriot, tying him with Ben Coates for second place in franchise history behind the 68 scored by Stanley Morgan.

In addition, Moss passed Marvin Harrison and moved into fifth place on the all-time receiving yards list with 14,604.

Asked about the meaningfulness of the milestones, Moss replied, "Naw man, it's just (about) going to work."

Tom Brady, you might have heard, called out the home fans for their lack of commitment and passion a few days after the Patriots' season-opening win over the Bengals.

He had no such qualms after yesterday's game, the first at home since he spoke out.

"I thought they were great," Brady said of the usual 68,756 patrons who turned out at Gillette Stadium. "I really did. I thought they were into it. They were really loud. That's a great advantage for us when the crowd is loud. There was some musket fire today, so that got it pretty loud."

Then Brady jokingly took a shot at a couple of teammates.

"I tell you, seeing (Brandon) Meriweather and Tully (Banta-Cain) up there on the big screen on that high-def isn't the best looking thing in the world, trying to get everyone fired up," he said.

Facts & Figures

Brady threw three touchdowns to move past Steve Young into 19th place on the all-time list with 233. Next up: George Blanda with 236.

Brady passed for 252 yards, raising his career total to 31,602 and leaping John Brodie for 28th place all-time. Next up: Mark Brunell with 31,928.

Brady completed at least 77 percent of his passes (21 of 27, 77.8 percent) for the 12th time in his career and had a passer rating of at least 142 (142.6) for the 10th time. The Patriots are undefeated in those games.
