WORCESTER - New uniforms, same result.

Playing their second straight game in Can-Am League-issued jerseys since having theirs seized by a debt-collecting lawyer, the Worcester Tornadoes lost to the Quebec Capitales, 8-6, last night at Hanover Insurance Park.

Both the Capitales (60-32) and Tornadoes (27-65) put runners aboard, but Quebec took advantage in the early innings, building a five-run lead through three.

Worcester mounted a comeback, but failed to catch up.

The Tornadoes scored on a groundout by Tony Patane and an RBI single by Jimmy Best in the fourth, an RBI single by Jerod Edmondson in the sixth, and an RBI double by Cam Kneeland and RBI single by Cameron Monger in the seventh.
