WORCESTER- Center fielder Danny Santiesteban hit two home runs, including a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh, and starting pitcher John Kelly held the New Jersey offense in check with six strong innings as Worcester improved to 2-0 to in the second half with a 12-3 victory at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field.

Santiesteban finished with three runs and five RBIs. He got plenty of offensive help from his teammates, notably catcher Craig Maddox, who slugged a three-run homer in the sixth. The top three hitters in the lineup, Strantel Smith, Omar Pena and Chris Colabello combined to score five runs.

Smith led off the bottom of the first with a single, stole second, and scored the first run of the game on a double play.
