Matthew Royal, son of Diane Royal, formerly of Clinton, graduated from Johnson and Wales University with an associate's degree in culinary arts.
Air Force Airman First Class Devin Doyle graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Doyle earned distinction as an honor graduate.
She is the daughter of Johnna and Sean Doyle, of Lancaster, granddaughter of John Martins, of Ware, and John Doyle, of Monson, and niece of Claudia Messier, of Palmer.

For the second year in a row, Clinton Savings Bank was a major sponsor of the Bolton 5K Rally, a walk and fun run that raises funds for worthy local causes. Now in its second year, the Bolton 5K Rally selected the Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps, which helps up to 100 at-risk children, as the beneficiary for 2014.
Catherine LeBlanc, daughter of Angela and Ray LeBlanc, of Clinton, received her master's in education in kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training, from the University of Virginia.
She is a 2009 graduation of Clinton High School.
The Berlin/Boylston Special Education Advisory Council (SEPAC) announced its 2014 Excellent Educator Awards recipients. This year 10 teachers, assistants or other staff members were nominated because parents felt these educators have made a difference in their child's life and educational experience.
The 2014 recipients are:
Boylston Elementary School: Bill Andrews, Laurie Benson, Jannell Fitzpatrick, Beverly Fletcher and Kristi Lombardo;
Tahanto Regional Middle High School: Deb Clarke, Jake Milano, Jen Rickard, Laura Settle and Keith Wolosz.
SEPAC representatives presented each nominee with a certificate, a congratulatory letter and a copy of the nomination statement. Copies of the letters are also given to the respective principal, the superintendent and the school committees.
Alice Bloemer, a University of Dallas student from Sterling, recently returned from spending the 2014 spring semester studying abroad at the University of Dallas' 12-acre Eugene Constantin Campus just outside Rome, Italy.
Two local resident were named to the spring dean's list at Endicott College:
Andrew Holfinger, the son of Dave and Diane Holfinger, of Sterling, a senior majoring in sports management; and Alyson Rauscher, daughter of John and Mary Rauscher, of Clinton, a senior majoring in psychology.
