2 graduate from Bryant University

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Bryan Regele of Rutland and Elizabeth Schreiner of Holden were among Bryant University's graduates May 22.

Mr. Regele received a bachelor of science in business administration, finance, degree. Ms. Schreiner received a bachelor of science in business administration, management, degree.

Pair named to dean's list

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Cameron Sheary of Paxton and Jaron Dalbeck of Princeton were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Sacred Heart University.

To receive this honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale.

Merhib graduates from Franklin Pierce

RUTLAND - Coris Ann Merhib of Rutland graduated May 15 from Franklin Pierce University, Rindge, N.H.

She received a bachelor of science degree in business management, summa cum laude. She was a member of Alpha Chi national honor society and Sigma Beta Delta graduate honor society.

Paxton student wins scholarship

Graduating high school senior Bryan Silvia of Paxton has been awarded a Cumberland Farms Believe and Achieve Scholarship of $1,000 toward his college expenses. Mr. Silvia plans to attend Marist College and study computer science.

This is the fourth year that Cumberland Farms awarded the scholarships. The Believe and Achieve Scholarship is open to students entering college and who live within 30 miles of any Cumberland Farms outlet in the Northeast and Florida. While the initiative takes academic performance into account, the award also considers the student's financial need.
