`Survivor' emerges

in Haiti benefit show

Theatre at the Mount's Jan. 23 production of "Survivor, the Musical" culminated with the naming of Regina Stillings as Sole Survivor. Ms. Stillings, who resides in Holden, competed against 19 other performers to see who could "out-sing, out-perform, and out-shine" in a full evening of musical theater challenges. Singing, dancing, acting, puzzles and trivia were all part of the competition in which Stillings was the last performer standing.

Other members of the cast included Matt Dombroski, Jeff Williams, Thom Hardy, Tony Kirouac, Joe Andrade, Nick Howe, Doug Dame, Mark LeBlanc, Craig Cormier, Paul Caouette, Melissa Gates, Cheryl Carter Miller, Fatima Elmi Lewis, Emily Smith, Kaara McHugh, Shani Farrell, Trish Aponte, Allie Laverdiere and Norma Marshall.

"Survivor, the Musical" raised funds for new curtains for the Theatre at the Mount stage, and a Pass-the-Hat challenge netted almost $2,000 for the American Red Cross Haiti relief fund.
