Wachusett 2, Algonquin 1: Junior Jake Thibodeau scored the winner in the first half for the top-ranked Mountaineers (8-1-0, 5-0-0 Midland A), who hung on to edge the No. 4 Tomahawks (4-2-2, 3-2-0) in Holden. Senior Jon Isperduli gave Wachusett a 1-0 lead, and Algonquin senior Danny Keller scored off a corner kick before halftime.

AMSA 5, North Brookfield 1: Charlie Lane scored three goals as the Eagles (8-2, 6-0 Worcester County) topped the visiting Indians (5-4-1, 5-3). Logan Fullam scored for North Brookfield.

Leominster 2, North Middlesex 1: Pat Marotta's breakaway goal with a minute left won it for the host Blue Devils (2-7-1) over the Patriots (0-8-1) at Doyle Field.

Kobina Faibille scored the Devils' first goal.

Marlboro 4, Quabbin 0: Jerson Rosales scored twice and Dirk Bellido and Alex Kinslow also tallied as No. 6 Marlboro (6-2-1, 3-0-1 Midland B) topped Quabbin (5-3-2, 1-3). Jonathan Souza (6 saves) posted the shutout.

Millbury 3, Leicester 1: Senior Alfred Koroma had two goals and an assist to lift the host Woolies (8-3-1, 8-1-1 SWCL). Classmate A.J. Lazarek had the other goal for Millbury. Senior Nick Bleu scored for the Wolverines (2-6-1, 2-6-1).

Shrewsbury 1, Nashoba 0: Junior Keon Haji scored unassisted in the 70th minute to lift the host Colonials (5-3-1, 3-1-1 Midland A) over the Chieftains (4-6, 2-3).

Westboro 2, Hudson 2: Carter Reynolds' penalty kick with nine minutes left tied the game for the No. 2 Rangers (7-1-2, 1-1-2 Midland B), who rallied from a 2-0 deficit in Westboro. Mike Paquette scored in the first half for the Hawks (4-3-1, 1-2-2), and Kyle Roach made it 2-0 in the second half. Tyler Sicklen scored Westboro's first goal.

Whitinsville Christian 4, Pioneer Valley Christian 2: Jacob Chapman scored twice, and Connor Jackson and Cam Sutherland each had a goal to lead the Crusaders (4-5-1) past the Eagles (3-6-1) in Springfield.

Girls' soccer

Algonquin 1, Wachusett 0: Annmarie Moy scored off a corner kick in the first half to lift the fourth-ranked visiting Tomahawks (6-2-1, 2-2-0 Midland A) over the No. 3 Mountaineers (5-1-5, 3-1-3). Sarah Jackson made six saves for the shutout, and Becca Mills turned away three shots for Wachusett.

AMSA 5, North Brookfield 1: Freshman Arin Smalls scored twice as the host Eagles (8-1, 6-0 WCAC) qualified for the Central Mass. Tournament for the third straight year.
