Norma E. Decoteau.

MANCHAUG Norma E. (Carter) Decoteau, 88, of Main Street in the Manchaug section of Sutton passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Decoteau, Sr. who died in 1976.

She was born in Uxbridge on May 27, 1923, the daughter of the late Morton A. and Luella E. (Greene) Carter and was a graduate of Sutton High School. She had worked many years at the former Hayward Schuster Woolen Mill as a frame spinner.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia E. and her husband Andrew A. Nedoroscik, Jr. of Manchaug; one son, Edward J. Decoteau, Jr. and his wife Ann (Mills) of Millbury; 5 grandchildren, Laurie and her husband D.J. Salmon, Jeffrey Nedoroscik, Michael Decoteau and his wife Michelle, Thomas Decoteau and his wife Lisa, and Carrie Gordon; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Gordon Carter and his wife Jane of FL; a sister, Nancy Dawicki of Manchaug; a sister-in-law, Therese Caswell of CT; a sister-in-law and best friend, Jeanette Carter of Manchaug and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Morton Carter, Austin Carter, and Leonard Carter and a sister, Doris Pamula.
