A two-run single by Tyler McElmon highlighted a three-run seventh inning for the fourth-ranked Panthers (15-5), breaking a 3-3 tie with the No. 6 Hawks (15-7) in Hudson.

Garrett Butt went the distance for visiting Marlboro, striking out 10 and adding a two-run double in the first inning. Evan Childs was 2 for 4 for Hudson.

Leominster 4, Burncoat 0

Senior right fielder Nick Rocheleau collected two singles and two RBIs for the Blue Devils (13-7) in Worcester.

Sophomore Mike Lapointe struck out 10 and scattered six hits for Leominster.

Sophomore Pat O'Connor hit two singles and classmate Alex Heroux added an RBI hit for the Blue Devils.

Gardner 3, Bromfield 1

Designated hitter Eric O'Reilly drove in the winning run with a single to left field in the fifth inning, leading the Wildcats (9-11).

Shane Stewart and O'Reilly combined for seven strikeouts and only allowed only one hit.

Oakmont 15, Bromfield 1

Liam Rafferty, pinch hitting in the sixth inning for his brother Pat with two runners on, hit a three-run homer to spark a four-run rally by the Spartans (15-6) against the Trojans (4-16).

Catcher Alex Witorski homered after Rafferty, and had a three-run triple in the second inning.

Hudson Catholic 5, Monty Tech 0

Brian O'Leary threw three-hit ball through five innings, and Will Garner (double, two RBIs) and Shane Penzone each pitched an inning of no-hit relief for the Green Wave (14-6, 9-5 Colonial Athletic League) in Fitchburg.

Robert Crespo had a hit and walked twice for the Bulldogs.

Senior Brendan Shanahan struck out five in his first shutout of the season, leading the host Stags (3-15). Tom Brown and Nate Taylor each had RBI singles.
