David Prouty 3, Southbridge 0: Taylor Fritze had a hat trick, while Danielle Huston (six saves) earned her ninth straight shutout as the visiting Panthers (7-6-3) moved within one point of qualifying for the Central Mass. playoffs by blanking the Pioneers (2-11).

David Prouty is 6-0-3 in its last nine games and needs one point from its final two games next week.

Oxford 2, Northbridge 2: Jaime Brodeur scored early in the second half to tie the game after she had assisted on Alexis Morrison's goal for host Oxford (5-6-6, 3-3-6). Abbey Crothers and Megan LaChapelle tallied for the Rams (2-12-1, 2-8-1).

Valley Tech 0, Assabet 0: Maddy Moscatelli (10 saves) earned her fourth shutout for the host Beavers (10-2-1, 8-0-1 Colonial), while Danielle Sharkey (eight saves) earned the shutout for the visiting Aztecs (7-7-1, 6-4-1).

Worcester Academy 2, Portsmouth Abbey 1: Brittany Williams scored twice to lead the visiting Hilltoppers (4-6-1).

Boys' soccer

BMR 1, Bartlett 0: Phillip Hatjopoulos put home a header off a corner kick from Shane Carey in the 57th minute to give the host Chargers (8-4-3) an upset of the eighth-ranked Indians (10-3-2).

Narragansett 1, Gardner 0: Junior Austin Myers scored in the 13th minute of the second half, and sophomore Nate Rasch (11 saves) notched his third shutout of the season as the visiting Warriors (8-6-2) stopped the Wildcats (2-9-2).

Sutton 2, Douglas 1: Logan Nellis and Brendan May scored for the No. 3 Sammies (13-0-2, 9-0), then Ryan Gordon tallied for the host Tigers (10-3-2, 3-3-2), all in the first half.

Quabbin 4, Athol 2: Riley Beaupre scored twice and Bobby Dickson and Marshall Bertrand each had a goal to help the Panthers (7-7-2) top the visiting Red Raiders (6-6-1). Brad Bousquet and Nelson Leadbetter scored for Athol.

Valley Tech 2, Assabet 0: Lee Sgroszo scored twice to lead the host Beavers past the Aztecs.

Wachusett 3, Tantasqua 0: Chris Couming had a goal and assist, while Liam Setterlund and Ibe Diabte added goals to lead the visiting No. 2 Mountaineers (12-1-2) past the Warriors (5-10-2).

Nashoba 1, Marlboro 0: Shea Cruickshank scored and Beau Brassard (six saves) earned the shutout to lead the host Chieftains (7-7-1).

Girls' soccer

Algonquin 4, Westboro 3: Amanda Murphy, Meagan Stassi, Kate Hostage and Lucy LeBlond scored as the third-ranked Tomahawks (11-2-3) upended the top-ranked Rangers (12-1-2) in Westboro. Olivia McGourty, Jana Thomas and Emily Longo scored for Westboro.
