Paul S. Tessier, 74SOUTH DEERFIELD - Paul S. Tessier, 74, of Sand Gully Rd., South Deerfield, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring, Florida after a 20 year battle with cancer. Paul was the son of Paul and Marion (Strand) Tessier, born on July 14, 1939 in Worcester, MA.He attended Assumption schools and graduated from North High School in Worcester. He also attended Greenfield Community College. He served in the U.S.Coast Guard from 1958 to 1963. He moved to Whately and then to South Deerfield. He worked for Oxford Pickle Co., the Turners Falls Post Office and Food Mart before retiring.He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, chess, hunting, fishing and traveling. He was a member of the Elks in Orleans, MA, The American Legion in Avon Park, FL and a left member of the Polish American Citizens Club in South Deerfield. He was also a member of the Lions Club and the South Deerfield Rod and Gun Club.Paul was known to be humorous, very caring, a good listener and the life of the party. He was also known for wearing strange and funny hats, wild shirts and enjoyed life to the fullest.He leaves behind his wife Kaywin (Wells) of 34 years, sons Donald (Ashley) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Scott (Anne) of Orleans, MA, daughters Debra Beaulieu (Paul) of Turners Falls and Tammy Ferzoco...
