WEST BOYLSTON - Peter Watson Campbell, 94, of Briarwood Circle, died peacefully at his residence on Sunday, Nov. 20, under the loving care of his family.

He was born in Paisley, Scotland, the son of William P. and Elizabeth (Steven) Campbell. He moved to the United States at the age of 6, was raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and later lived over 50 years in Holden before moving to the Briarwood community in 2002.

He graduated from Pawtucket High School in 1934 and served his machinist apprenticeship at Browne and Sharpe in Providence. He worked for O.S. Walker Co. in Worcester for many years and, from 1970 to 1979, owned and operated Campbell Magnetic and Machine Co. in Worcester.

He was a 32 Degree Mason. His Masonic memberships included St. John's Lodge of Masons and the Scottish Rites Bodies both in Rhode Island and the Aleppo Temple Shrine in Wilmington.

He was a World War II Army veteran and served in the European Theatre.

His wife of 54 years, Barbara (Gilbert) Campbell died in 2004. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his son, Steven G. Campbell and his wife, MaryAnn, of Southbridge; his daughter, Melissa C. Petersen and her husband...
