CLINTON - Ralph W. Schreiner, 90, of Cromie St., passed away Monday, Nov. 30, at the Life Care Center of Auburn after a brief illness. He is survived by a son, Richard Schreiner of Clinton; a daughter, Jean Marhefka and her husband, Frank, of Auburn; a daughter-in-law, Janet Schreiner of Holden; seven grandchildren, Frank Marhefka and his wife, Elaine, of Barrington, N.H.; Brian Marhefka of Leominster, William Marhefka of Auburn, Amy Schreiner of Worcester, Elizabeth Schreiner of Holden, Lauren and Derek Schreiner of Rutland, Vt.; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Regina (Kosiewski) Schreiner, and a son, Dr. Robert Schreiner.

Mr. Schreiner was born in Clinton to the late Jacob and Margaret (Fischer) Schreiner and was a lifelong resident. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Clinton High School. He proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served as Staff Sergeant and Aerial Gunnery Instructor for B-24 Bombers during WWII.
