BOYS' SOCCER

Algonquin 4, Leominster 1: Jonathan Krouse scored on a breakaway and Chris Esftathion netted two goals to close out the first half for the top-ranked Tomahawks (5-0-1, 4-0-1 Mid-Wach A) at Doyle Field in Leominster.

Fabio Machado scored on a penalty kick four minutes into the game to give the No. 3 Blue Devils (3-3, 2-3) a 1-0 lead.

Jose Silva added a goal in the second half for Algonquin.

Milford 3, South 0: Junior Will Marcal scored the first two goals, the first assisted by junior Gustavo Rocha, as the No. 5 Scarlet Hawks (4-2-1) knocked off the visiting No. 6 Colonels (4-1-1).

Milford senior Mat Ziegler scored off classmate Jon Damas' corner kick. Senior Alex Usevicius (4 saves) posted the shutout.

Nashoba 1, Westboro 0: Brett Macko scored on a header in the 55th minute to lead the host Chieftains (3-1-2, 2-1-2 Mid-Wach B) past the Rangers (4-1-2, 4-1-1).

Sophomore Ryan Gumbard had six saves for the shutout for Nashoba.

GIRLS' SOCCER

Doherty 6, Bay Path 0: Junior Liz Pellegrini scored three goals and Viola Zhuri made four saves for her fourth shutout of the season as the Highlanders (3-2-2) defeated the Minutemen (1-8) at Foley Stadium.

Allie Lamontagne, Brooke Ferrin and Maya Davis added goals for Doherty.

Clinton 6, Ayer 2: Junior Ali Vetros had three goals and two assists, sophomore Laura Hazel added two goals and an assist and classmate Angela Pallotta had a goal and an assist for the host Gaels (4-3).

Jordan Sedor scored twice for the Panthers.

Nashoba 2, Westboro 0: Megan Baldwin scored, Hannah Groucas made five saves and the No. 4 Chieftains shut out the host Rangers (4-3, 2-3 Mid-Wach B).

Nipmuc 4, Whitinsville Christian 2: Sophomore Rachel Bloznalis had two goals and an assist, and juniors Meredith Collins and Emma Blanchard also scored for the visiting Warriors (5-3-1).

Freshman Alex Boa and senior Anna Woudenberg had the goals for the Crusaders (3-4-1).

St. Mary's 3, Trivium 3: After trailing, 3-1, at halftime, senior captain Katrina Lewandowski scored twice in the final 22 minutes to lift the host Eagles to a tie.

Mary Millar added a goal for St. Mary's (2-5-1, 1-0-1 WCAC).

Jacinta Dyke scored twice while Grace Cheffers added a goal for Trivium (0-3-1, 0-1-1).
