Rev. George L. Cory, 82.

GREENFIELD Rev. George L. Cory, 82, died Friday (9-30-11) at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds. Born on June 20, 1929 in Englewood, NJ, he was the son of George L. and Flavia (Shurtleff) Cory. He was a 1948 graduate of Englewood High School, a 1952 graduate of Bates College in Maine, earned his Masters of Divinity at Andover-Newton and was ordained in 1955. He served churches in New Hampshire, South Dakota, Missouri, Ohio and Massachusetts. He was a member of Robbins Memorial Congregational Church.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Friedrich) Cory with whom he celebrated 20 years of marriage on February 14th. He is also survived by six children: Margaret Sheldon of Kansas City, MO; Bruce Cory of Rochester, NH; Joanna Conley of Shawnee, KS; Elizabeth Curran and husband Richard of Whiting, VT; Emily Haskell and husband Scott of Marstons Mills, MA; and Matthew Cory and wife Cheryl of Worcester, MA; 21...
