SPENCER - Rhoda Nancy Jaskoviak, 73, passed away on Sunday, May 30, at her home in Spencer, surrounded by family.

She leaves her son, Kyle Jaskoviak of Spencer; daughter, Kim Purcell, her partner, Mark Bengtson, and grandchildren, Ryan, Brittany and Hayley, of East Brookfield; son, Kent Jaskoviak, his wife, Betty Jean, and grandsons, Tory, Cole and Tyler, of West Boylston; Kirk Jaskoviak, his wife, Linda, and granddaughter Eva of Hardwick; sister, Joan Mattson of Spencer and niece, Sheree McCurdy of Laughlin, Nevada; former husband, Richard Jaskoviak and his wife Nancy, of East Brookfield; sister-in-law, Irmgard George; nephews, Mark and Lloyd. She was predeceased by her brother Andrew George, of Granite Bay, Calif.

Mrs. Jaskoviak was born in Gloucester to John Mattson and Gladys (Sherwood) Mattson on June 4, 1936. She spent her early childhood in Lanesville, where her grandfather ran a general store. She moved often during her school years, even living in Malborough, England for a while, before eventually...
