WORCESTER - Rita E. (O'Connor) Cawley, 95, formerly of Brentwood Dr. in Holden, died peacefully on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012 at Shrewsbury Crossing. Her husband of nearly 45 years, Thomas P. Cawley, died August 8, 1992. She leaves her daughter, Marguerite M. Foley and her husband Tom of Worcester; three sons, Thomas P. Cawley and his wife Maureen of Braintree, David F. Cawley and his wife Chris of Atlanta, GA, Stephen W. Cawley and his wife Cheryl of Center Conway, NH; a sister, Gertrude T. O'Connor of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Eileen and Sheila Cawley of Braintree, Kellianne Perceval and her husband Scott of Worcester, Patrick and Michael Foley of Millbury, Ke, Park and Sam Cawley of Center Conway, NH; her great grandson, Jack Perceval; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Mary A. Garvey and Eileen A. O'Day, predeceased her. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Timothy J. and Margaret A. (O'Brien) O'Connor and was a graduate of Classical High School and the former Worcester State Teachers College. She moved to Holden in 1987 where she lived...
