Becker 66, Worcester State 64: Tyler Roberson had 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Hawks (1-1) to a double-overtime win over the Lancers (0-2) in the consolation game of the Eastern Tip-Off Tournament in Willimantic, Conn.

Rashaun Liggon's two free throws with three seconds left were the difference after he rebounded a missed 3-point attempt and was fouled.

David Maturah added 10 points for Becker, while Donovin Ford-Hayes chipped in nine.

Dane Jobst led Worcester State with 27 points and 14 rebounds, while Brendan Rios added 10 points for the Lancers, who led at the half,

22-20.

Anna Maria 79, Elms 68: Quantez Franklin scored 18 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead the AmCats to a win in the consolation game of the UMass Dartmouth Classic.

Tyler Delorey scored 15 points off the bench for Anna Maria, with Hugh Daye (11) and Joseph Barillo (10) also scoring in double figures.

Clark 80, Mount Ida 69: Andrew Musler had 24 points and 12 rebounds, while tournament MVP Nicholas DaPrato added 20 points to help the Cougars open their season with a win in the championship game of the Courtyard By Marriott Tip-Off Tournament at Roger Williams.

Jake Gubitose had eight rebounds for Clark, which led, 42-33, at the half.

Western Connecticut 95, Fitchburg State 82: Mike Ingram-Rubin had 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Falcons (0-2) in a loss to the Colonials (1-1) at the Regis Tip-Off Tournament in Weston. Anthony Muccioli had 22 points and Josh Imadiyi 10 points and 13 rebounds for FSU.

Women's basketball

Anna Maria 98, Yeshiva 78: Trafficia Warburton and Deja Taitt each scored 18 points, with Christina Gauin and Taylor Walker (10 rebounds) both adding 17 as the AmCats opened the season with a balanced and strong offense at the AMC Classic.

Lindsay Bond added 10 points as all the starters finished in double figures for Anna Maria.

Assumption 64, Caldwell 51: Tafanie Roye scored 17 points as the Greyhounds opened play this season with a win at the Assumption Tip-Off Classic.

Shannon Ray added 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting for Assumption and Caitlin Ackerman had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Greyhounds, who led by 20 points in the second half, will host Confordia at 3:30 p.m. today.
