Robert Carr.

LANCASTER - Robert W. "Bob" Carr, 66, a Lancaster resident since 1977, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, Aug. 13, under the loving care of his family. He was the beloved husband of 43 years of Rosiland M. (Cullinane) Carr.

Born and raised in Waltham, he was the son of the late Ralph A. and Margaret E. (Harrigan) Carr, and brother of the late James Carr of Maynard. Mr. Carr attended the Waltham schools and enlisted in the U.S. Navy to serve during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge. he met his future wife, Rosiland, at his family's former Acton restaurant, The Candlewood.

They married and lived in Maynard for a time, where Mr. Carr was a member of the American Legion Post #235 and enjoyed playing on the post's billiards team. An outdoorsman, he loved time spent fishing and boating, and was a member of the Shirley Rod and Gun Club.
