Robert E. Putnam.

HAMPTON, NH Robert E. Putnam, 82, of Hampton, NH, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Exeter Hospital.

He was born February 9, 1929 the son of the late Arthur R. and Mary (Tucker) Putnam.

Bob attended West Boylston's school systems graduating from West Boylston High School with the Class of 1947.

Mr. Putnam was a career long distance truck driver who worked at various trucking companies for over 45 years.

Bob was a hardworking man and devoted grandfather who enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and driving the New Hampshire coast line. He was an avid sports fan, who loved watching his favorite team the Boston Red Sox.

He shared 50 years of marriage with his late wife Dorothy (Velleco) Putnam who died January 12, 2004.
