EAST LONGMEADOW Robert E. Sullivan, 77, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Sunday, March 9, 2008. Born September 29, 1930 in Worcester, MA, he was a son of the late William J. Sr. and Katherine (Lowney) Sullivan. He was a graduate of Worcester North High School, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He retired after many years from the Hamilton Standard Division of United Technologies Corporation.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Doris (Chickosky) Sullivan; his devoted sons, Robert Sullivan Jr. and his wife Diane (Sarussi) of Singapore, and Paul David Sullivan and his wife, Hilda (Theriault) of Simsbury, CT. He will also be missed by his cherished grandchildren, Annemarie Sullivan, Andrew Sullivan, Alice Dunn, Paul Sullivan Jr., and Patrick Sullivan.
