BOYS' CROSS-COUNTRY

Dual Valley Championship: Whitinsville Christian's Thomas Rogers set the 3-mile boys' course record of 17 minutes, 5 seconds at Nipmuc Regional in Upton, where Hopedale ran to its sixth conference title in seven years.

The Blue Raiders grabbed the 3-4-5 spots on finishes by Matt Doran (17:16), Paul Maurais (17:24) and Chris Kivior (17:29). Nick Bird (17:38) was eighth, Aaron Maurais (17:51) 11th, Anthony Tandy (17:53) 12th and Peter Berdos (18:05) 15th for Whitinsville Christian.

Douglas' Ross Mungeam (17:13) was second.

Mid-Wach B Championship: Westboro's Brandon Robertson (16:39) placed first on the 3.1-mile course at Ghiloni Park in Marlboro, while Miles Hodge finished a second (16:47) to lead Nashoba Regional to the team title.

The Chieftains took the next four spots with Reid Sullivan (17:02), Forest Hangen (17:25), Hayden Smith (17:40) and Mark Poleo (17:47). John Egan (17:49) and Mark Aronson (18:12) finished seventh and 10th for the Rangers.

SWCL Championship: Buoyed by top-10 finishes from Elijah Fossas (15:50), Wes Nelson (15:54) and Leo Harmon (16:23), Shepherd Hill edged Tantasqua, led by individual champion Aaron Anderstrom (15:41), for the team title on the 2.91-mile course at Webster's Memorial Park in Webster.

Mike Dobos (15:54) and Finley Simonds (16:19) also placed in the top 10 for Tantasqua. Grafton's Chaz Davis (15:47) was second.

Bancroft 16, Landmark 35: Senior Sam Fujimori finished first on his 3.1-mile home course in 17:02, while Gavin Fujimori was second (19:53), Liam Shanahan (19:55) third, and Robert Turley (20:10) fourth for the Bulldogs. Eric Jones (20:39) finished fifth for Landmark.

GIRLS' CROSS-COUNTRY

Dual Valley Championship: Sutton's Jess Cardin won in a girls' record of 19:54 on Nipmuc's 3-mile course, leading the Suzies to the team title.

Teammates Corrine Bonder (21:05) and Mackenzie George (21:12) finished 3-4, while Julia Berkowicz (20:09) and Abby Epplett (21:12) were second and fifth for runner-up Whitinsville Christian.

Mid-Wach B Championship: Senior Abby Hurd of Nashoba was first in 19:49 over the 3.1-mile course at Ghiloni Park, powering the Chieftains to the team title.

Maddie McMullan (21:28) placed third, while Kara McCormick (21:39), Brady Taylor (21:45), Kelsey Horowitz (21:53) and Allie Alaire (21:58) placed fifth through ninth for Nashoba.

Freshman Steffany Halfrey (20:45) finished second for runner-up Quabbin.

SWCL Championship: Julie Richer won in 18:10 over 2.91 miles to lead Northbridge to the team title at Memorial Park.

Shepherd Hill's Stella Worters was second (18:19), followed by Millbury's Angie DiDomenica (18:37). Northbridge's Megan Mawn (19:29) placed fifth and Janet Haas (19:49) sixth.

Bancroft 15, Landmark 40: Sophomore Rachel Brutman finished first on her 3.1-mile course in 22:00, while teammates Danielle Cahn (23:12), Bridgit Donohue (23:22), Bryanna Andgood-Hardy (25:36) and April Lo (30:58) took the next four spots for the host Bulldogs.
