Rose Beren, 86Worcester, MA - Beren, Rose of Worcester passed away on January 25, 2015 at the age of 86 surrounded by her loving family. She was the dear daughter of the late Samuel and Annie (Magnet) Hymans. Beloved wife of Eliot Beren with whom she honeymooned for almost 67 years. Devoted mother of Ann (Caplin) Koenig and her husband the late Harvey Koenig of Windsor, CT and Sandi Beren Mahoney and her husband Tom "Moe" of Framingham. Loving sister of the late Max, Meyer "Mike" and Murray Hymans. Cherished grandmother of Jenn (Caplin) Roulier and her husband Rob, Josh Caplin and his wife Kate, Kara Mahoney Robinson and her husband Jeff and Eric B. Mahoney and his wife Ilyse. Adored great grandmother of Jake, Zack, Ryan, Rachel, Hannah, Lily and Ari as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Rose grew up in Dorchester and the family moved to Worcester in 1958. Rose, the matriarch of her family, loved to share stories and traditions of her heritage. Her passion was caring and cooking for those she loved. She advocated that marriage is not a 50/50 proposition but that each partner needs to give 100% which was exemplified in her marriage with Eliot.
