Ruth C. Norling, 101.

WORCESTER - Ruth C. (Lindquist) Norling, 101, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011, in her home at Briarwood. Her husband, Claus H. Norling, died in 1992. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Oscar L. and Hilma (Mars) Lindquist. Two brothers and a sister predeceased her. She is survived by her step-children, B. Jean Silva of Vineyard Haven, Kenneth R. Norling of Auburn, and Barry Norling and his wife Abby of Skowhegan, ME; 9 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren, and 1 step-great, great grandchild.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Burncoat Baptist Church, and the Grace Mission Guild. Ruth was a social worker for the City of Worcester.
