Junior Jordan Cyr and freshman Rob Linsmayer each had a goal and an assist as the Holy Cross men's hockey team defeated American International, 4-2, in the first round of the Atlantic Hockey Tournament at the Hart Center last night.

The seventh-seeded Crusaders improved to 12-17-6 and advanced to a best-of-three quarterfinal series against second-seeded Sacred Heart next weekend at the Milford (Conn.) Ice Pavilion.

The 10th-seeded Yellow Jackets finished the season at 5-24-4.
