MEN'S SOCCER

Holy Cross 2, Northeastern 1: Kevin O'Connell's goal won it for the Crusaders (1-6-2) over the visiting Huskies (5-2-1) in double overtime.

Josh Cintas and Tommy Uttaro assisted on O'Connell's tally in the 104th minute. Uttaro's goal in the 65th minute tied the game. Goaltender Michael Thompson made one save for the Crusaders.

Fitchburg State 4, Becker 3: Oakmont Regional grad Lionso Ventura's goal late in the second half won it for the Falcons (1-8-0) over the visiting Hawks (1-6-2). Kevin Mascary assisted on Ventura's goal, his second of the game. Mascary also had two goals.

Becker's Timothy Howard scored twice and Aldo Karkanjozi once.

Stonehill 4, Assumption 2: Scott Buckholz and Kieran Hillery scored for the visiting Greyhounds (2-4, 2-3 Northeast-10) in Easton.
