A record season for Millbury ends with district title.

While the Millbury girls' basketball team came up short in its quest for a state title, the Central Mass. Division 2 champs continue to collect individual accolades as the Southern Worcester County League announced its winter all-stars.

Senior Amma Agyeman and sophomores Cailin Bullet and Erika Higginbottom all earned their place as SWCL East all-stars, leading the Woolies on a 20-game winning streak that culminated in their first-ever district title.

Bullet led the league in scoring. She averaged 12 points per game for Millbury as they went undefeated in league play with a perfect 10-0 record.

The Woolies weren't the only team to have three all-stars.

Uxbridge also placed a trio of players on the squad in Jackie Deiana, Julie Caffrey and Kate Chenevert.

Northbridge added two, Katie Morvan and Casey Wihn.

Grafton's Alex Petit, Ryan Stock and Mark Bradshaw headline the SWCL East boys' basketball all-star team, which also includes Uxbridge's Andrew Groth and Kyle Allaire, Greg Walker and Neil Pulucha of Northbridge and Millbury's Carlos Sanchez.

Grafton edged Northbridge and Uxbridge for the league title behind Petit and Stock, who combined to average over 32 points per game. Walker led the league in scoring with 384 points, averaging an amazing 19.2 points per game.

SWCL East indoor track all-stars included Jason Tarantino, Tom Murray, Chris Tarantino, Dennis Graf, Robert Lussier, Jenna Kay Boucher, Stephanie Crain, Christina Meruulla, Deanna Flaherty, Kayla Berube, Audrey Schmidt, Danielle Mitchell and Maddi McFaul of Millbury, Will Faden, Jim Cedberg, Josh Sjorgren, Bob Delveccio, Rob Reinhardt, Jess Falbaum, Mara Kralian, Samantha Sheehan and Emily Anderson of Grafton, Zachariah Picotte, Meghan Gosselin, Katie Smith, Erin Philips and Kaitlin Miller of Northbridge, and Alex Droby, Jamie Gomal and Sara Rafferty of Uxbridge.

The Dual Valley Conference also released its winter all-stars and Sutton, Whitinsville Christian, Nipmuc, Blackstone-Millville and Douglas were all well...
