LANCASTER Shane M. Hall, of Lancaster, MA, died unexpectedly on June 1, 2009.

He was born March 27, 1977 in Framingham MA, and grew up in Natick. He graduated from Marion High in 1995 and went on to receive degrees from UMASS Amherst and New England Institute of Art. His passion for anthropology, documentary film-making and helping others was evident in all aspects of his life as a vibrant and active member of many communities - Western Massachusetts, Cambridge, Worcester and Fort Pond. He performed outreach and touched countless individuals through his work at Cambridge Cares and AIDS Project Worcester. Most recently he had applied his talents as a real estate agent. Shane's greatest joy was his family and friends. His devotion and caring nature sustained them in good times and in bad. He was cherished by all who knew him.
