Milford 6, Algonquin 0: Shannon Smith's streak of 26 innings without allowing a hit ended in the fifth, but the ace of the top-ranked Scarlet Hawks (13-0, 8-0 Mid-Wach A) tossed a two-hit shutout anyway, striking out 15. Smith (3 for 4, four RBIs) also hit a pair of two-run homers.

Caroline Fairbanks went 2 for 3 with a double and Allie Piergustavo had an RBI double.

The Tomahawks (6-7, 3-4) got to Smith for both of their hits in the fifth, including a double by Allie Courtwright.

Doherty 11, Burncoat 5: Meg D'Elia (4 for 4, two doubles) drove in four runs, Delaney Sylvester (3 for 5, double) knocked in three, and Mackenzie Doherty (2 for 2, two doubles) added an RBI for the visiting Highlanders (9-5, 4-0 Inter-High).

Ashley Smitts went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI and Taylor McGrail was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs for the Patriots (5-9, 2-2).

AMSA 18, St. Mary's 7: Elizabeth Duross went 3 for 4 and Emily Nicholas was 2 for 5 with three RBIs as host AMSA (6-4, 5-0 Worcester County) won in Marlboro.

Brittany Augusto tossed six relief innings, striking out seven, for St. Mary's (1-11, 1-5).

Assabet 22, Bay Path 7: Jen Casavant went 4 for 5 with a double and two triples and drove in four runs as the visiting Aztecs (11-1, 8-1 Colonial Athletic) won in five innings. Laurie Demars went 3 for 3 and scored three times.

Pitcher Danielle MacNeil and catcher Amanda Roberts each went 2 for 3 for the Minutemen (4-8, 2-7).

Groton-Dunstable 3, Quabbin 2: Alyssa Ash (nine strikeouts) singled in Meg McLean with one out in the bottom of the seventh for a walk-off victory as the Crusaders (5-7, 2-4 Mid-Wach B) rallied from a late deficit. Erin Olson had an RBI single earlier in the inning, plating Lindsay Maloomian (two hits).

Catcher Lindsey Howland drove in the go-ahead run for the Panthers (2-9, 1-5) in the top of the sixth with a double.

Hopedale 13, Sutton 0: Lauren Kapatoes (six strikeouts) hurled a four-hitter and went 3 for 3 with two runs and a solo homer in the fifth inning to lead the visiting Blue Devils (6-7, 4-3 Dual Valley).

Anna Siefring (2 for 5) had a two-run double in the first inning and a two-run single in the fifth, while Jenna Marcello, Nicole Apicella and Kim Hopkins each had two hits and two RBIs.

Keri Doldoorian had two of the four hits for the Suzies (4-7, 1-7).

Leicester 3, Shepherd Hill 0: Lauren Tuiskula scattered five hits and struck out 10 for the No. 6 Wolverines (13-2, 10-2 SWCL). Tuiskula helped herself at the plate, going 2 for 4 and driving in all three runs.

Pitcher Molly Covill went the distance and had a hit for the host Rams (7-5, 6-3).

Leominster 5, Fitchburg 0: Jess Hiatt tossed a three-hitter and struck out nine to propel the host Blue Devils (8-5, 5-2 Mid-Wach A). Cheyenne Frost had a two-run double, Julia Ring an RBI double, and Domonique Zarella drove in a run.

Joslyn Gallagher had two hits for the Red Raiders (2-12, 1-6).

Lunenburg 5, Tyngsboro 3: Sara Dufresne went 3 for 4 and Taylor Olsen was 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the visiting Blue Knights (8-5), who won with four runs in the seventh.

Emily McPadden went 2 for 4, including a three-run homer, and Brooke Bogacz was 3 for 4 for the Tigers (7-6).

Marlboro 4, Nashoba 2: Marisa Giglio's single in the fourth inning scored Erin Coughlin with the eventual winning run as the visiting Panthers (7-5, 4-2 Mid-Wach B) defeated the eighth-ranked Chieftains (9-6, 4-3).
