St. Peter-Marian 1, Worcester Tech 0: Kyle Brenner struck out eight over nine scoreless innings, Joey Consolmagno pitched a scoreless 10th, and Steve Roche doubled in the only run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th to lift the host Guardians (11-7) to a walk-off victory that clinched a Central Mass. Division 1 playoff spot.
Roche had two hits and two walks.
Andrew Montiverdi had three hits and John Boyd struck out six over seven innings for the fifth-ranked Bulldogs (16-3).
Algonquin 6, Shrewsbury 0: Chris Buzzell went 2 for 4 with a run and two RBIs, and Kevin Carens went 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run as the sixth-ranked Tomahawks (12-8, 8-2 Mid-Wach A) topped the host Colonials (8-10, 3-8).
Ayer 6, Bromfield 1: Senior right-hander Ryan Carroll pitched a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts and added two hits and two runs to lead the visiting Panthers (4-1, 4-6 Mid-Wach D).
Burncoat 15, Sutton 1: Anthony Gingerelli had two triples and two RBIs, and J.C. Marlborough added three hits and two RBIs for the visiting Patriots (9-10), who can qualify for the Central Mass. playoffs with a win over South on Thursday.
Clinton 5, Lunenburg 3: Brendan Cutler and Izzy Feliz each had two hits including a double as the ninth-ranked Gaels (16-2, 7-0) clinched the Mid-Wach C title outright at home.
David Prouty 14, Bay Path 0: Clayton Fahey went 2 for 4 with a three-run triple and five RBIs for the visiting Panthers (14-5), who scored five runs in the sixth and six in the seventh.
Douglas 4, Blackstone-Millville 2: Kenny Weagle (2 for 3) had an RBI double and scored on Ethan Eldridge's sacrifice fly in the fourth inning to key the victory for the host Tigers (9-9), who need one win in their last two games to secure a postseason berth.
Gardner 9, Groton-Dunstable 6: Andrew Mansfield's two-run single highlighted an eight-run third inning for the visiting Wildcats (7-11, 3-6 Mid-Wach B).
Grafton 5, Nipmuc 4: Kevin McKernan drove in Ben Shaw with a two-out, bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 10th to complete a comeback from a 4-1 by the host Indians (9-9, 7-8 SWCL).
Phil Derry (3 for 5) had a key single in the winning rally and also doubled in the tying run in the sixth. Eric Levitre led off the sixth with a double and Shaw added an RBI double as Grafton strung together four hits and scored three times to tie the game, 4-4.
Hudson 9, Nashoba 8: With one out in the eighth, Josh King's dribbler in front of the plate scored Tim Erlandson with the winning run for the host Hawks (12-7, 7-3 Mid-Wach B).
Hopedale 9, Southbridge 2: Seniors Dan Bresciani, Alex Posch and Colby Mulry combined to go 7 for 10 to lead the visiting Blue Raiders (15-2).
