The Pioneers look to extend their Turkey Day streak to six with a win over the Guardians. St. John's has been led by a pair of quarterbacks in junior Griffin Murphy and senior Zak Kofos, who both give the Pioneers' offense a different look. Speed-burning wideouts Richard Rodgers and James Lizotte have combined for more than 700 yards receiving, while St. John's has been getting great efforts from its backfield, as Andrew Dugan and Albert Mitchell have carried the load for the Pioneers. The St. John's defense might be the best in Central Mass., as Rob Blanchflower and Troy Moore lead the front line while Alex Papoojian and Phil Iaccarino shore up the linebackers and Colin O'Rourke and Tim Wickstrom patrol the defensive backfield. The Guardians have been plagued by injuries all season, but know a win over the Pioneers will make their year. St. Peter-Marian has found a gem down the stretch in sophomore quarterback Lamar Edmonds, while senior B.J. Warnken has done everything he can to help the Guardians. The running back tandem of juniors Brian Desimone and Joe Michalowski is a potent combo, combining for over 800 yards. The Guardians' linebackers are strong, with senior captain Tommy Flynn and junior Tom Letson leading the way.
