Who are the top fishermen in the state? Mark Mohan of Pembroke and Jake Souza of Berkeley were just named Adult and Youth Anglers of the Year, respectively, by MassWildlife.

Also just announced were the Freshwater Gold Pin award winners who caught the state's heaviest fish in 2013.

There was no exaggerating any of these catches. All had to be certified officially. Overall, this list is valuable not only to reveal our most successful fishermen, but also to highlight the special waters that produced our largest fish.
