Steve Ordog, 83.

PHOENIX, AZ Steve Ordog, 83, devoted husband, father, & grandfather passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 after a brain hemorrhage & related complications. Steve leaves behind his wife- Mary; four sons- Steve (North Carolina), Sid married to Margie (Rhode Island), Joe married to Dianne (Massachusetts), and Walt married to Shari (Phoenix); and eight grandchildren- Chris & Mary (North Carolina); Jonathan, David, & Julia (Rhode Island); and Rhian, Chase, & Ava (Phoenix).

Steve was born to Andras & Erszebet (Martinovics) in East Chicago, Indiana on 02 May 1928. He had a brother, Andrew married to Virginia, and a sister, Elizabeth. He also had a niece, Kathy, married to Tom Smith, with three children- Andrew, Tom, & Steve.

Steve worked on the railroad and in steel mills early in his career, served in the Army in Korea, attended Purdue University and graduated with honors as a mechanical engineer. He stayed with the steel industry, working at Armco, then rolling-mill designer & builder Morgan...
