LIMERICK, IRELAND Teresa P. "Tess Kelleher, nee English of Limerick, Ireland and formerly of Hollyford, Co. Tipperary; Montreal, Canada; Bethpage, New Hyde Park and Bellerose Village, New York and Nairobi, Kenya; died peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2007 in the loving care of Milford Care Centre, Castletroy, Limerick.

Late of Hawthorns, Annacotty, Co. Limerick, beloved wife of the late Ed and dearly loved mother of Tricia (Ryan) of Donadea, Co. Kildare, Claire (OConnor) of West Boylston, Massachusetts, Jane (Molloy) of East Greenwich, Rhode Island and the late Eileen. She will be greatly missed by her sons-in-law: Pat, Brendan and Matt, grandchildren, Barry and Megan Ryan, Rory and Eamon OConnor, Daniel and Niamh Molloy; brothers: Mike of Luddenmore, Co. Limerick, Denis of Dyfed, South Wales and Pat of Twickenham, England; sisters: Mary (McDonald) of Wrexham, North Wales, Nellie (Maiden) of Landsdowne Park, Limerick, Joan (Dornan) of Castletroy, Limerick, Bernie (Waldron) of Foxrock, Co. Dublin and Phyl (Conway) of Sandycove, Co. Dublin; extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by her sister, Brid (McInerney of Limerick and brother, Jim of Dublin.

Raised on a farm in Glenpadden, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary, Tess entered Milford Convent in Castletroy, Limerick as a novitiate with the Little Company of Mary in 1950. Unable to take her final vows, for reasons known only to God, she then spent several months abroad in South Africa with extended family, before returning to Ireland to begin a career with Aer Lingus at Shannon Airport where she met Ed. They then emigrated to Montreal in 1956 with Lufthansa Airlines where they were married, then moved in 1961 to New York with Aer Lingus and then to Nairobi in 1976 on an Aer Lingus ancillary management assignment with the former East African Airways...
