As my usual routine on Sunday morning when we get the Sunday Telegram, I turn to the "Then and Now'' section first. I was pleasantly surprised on Sept. 28 to see the apartment building where we lived for 10 years when I was a teenager. The picture brought back a lot of happy memories.

We lived next to the top floor and had to climb six flights of stairs. Back in 1960s, I would run up these six flights, no problem. The picture shows the side where we lived. At night, you could see the Filene's Department Store sign from our porch. It was bright green. The building is long since gone. The McIntyre baby furniture store was on the ground level.
