Westboro 67, Holy Name 61: Center Nate Foy scored 19 points, Brian Orlando 17 and forward Nick Mastergiacomo 15 (7 in the fourth quarter) as the visiting Rangers (1-0) held off the Naps (1-1).

Tyler Delorey scored 20 points for Holy Name, which trailed, 32-30, at intermission, but couldn't get over the hump in the second half.

Algonquin 49, Hudson 36: Senior Bob Reynolds had a game-high 23 points, including three 3-pointers, as the host Tomahawks used an 18-7 second-quarter run to earn their first win. Graham Turker had 16 rebounds and six points for Algonquin (1-1). Dana Barry had 14 points while Doug Ventura added 12 for the Hawks (0-1).

Clinton 71, Nashoba 65: Senior Adam Zelent scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the second half, including 10 in the fourth quarter, to help the host Gaels past the Chieftains. Senior co-captain Sergio Colon added 19 points and classmate Alvin Mayard had 17 for Clinton (2-1).

Casey Granese led the Chieftains (0-1) with 17 points, while senior captain Chris Parenteau had 16 points 18 rebounds and John Cushion (5 assists) and Rory Leland each had 13.

Douglas 80, Bethany Christian 73: Nate Pajka had 37 points, while Ryan Hill added 16 to lift the visiting Tigers (1-2).

Senior co-captain Steve Rice scored 23 of his game-high 39 points in the second half for the Eagles (0-2), but turnovers and foul trouble limited the chances of a comeback. Jonny Norton added 17 points and David Sampaio had 14 points for BCA.

Keefe Tech 55, Valley Tech 49: Senior point guard Julio Leon scored 20 points to help the Beavers (0-1, 0-1 Colonial League) get back in the game after the Broncos (1-1, 1-0) jumped out to a 12-0 lead.

Leicester 46, Auburn 42: Sophomore Mike Ferraro's 3-pointer with 22 seconds left gave the host Wolverines their first second-half lead, 44-42, and Shane McAvoy hit two free throws seconds later to ice the game.

Small forward Brendan Friend finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds and a pair of steals for Leicester (1-1).

Shane Matthews (17 points) and Antonio Leatham (10 points) helped the Rockets (0-1) build a 23-18 halftime lead with their scoring and rebounding.

Millbury 68, Grafton 52: Point guard Ryan O'Leary scored 15 of his 21 points in the first half to push the Woolies (2-0) to a 33-25 halftime lead, then center Tim Swenson took over in the second half, scoring 13 of his 21 points to help Millbury close out the Indians (0-1) in the SWCL East...
