"Nature'' (8 p.m., Chs. 2 and 11; 1 a.m., Ch. 44) A look at a troop of snow monkeys that lives in Japan's frigid Shiga Highlands. The primates have a complex, structured society, so it's surprising when the new leader -- a solitary figure that's something of a grouch -- bonds with a little monkey that's ignorant of its own low rank.

"Survivor: Cagayan'' (8 p.m., Chs. 4 and 12) Another castaway is voted out of the game.
