COLUMN: ROUNDUP BOYS' BASKETBALL Tantasqua 60, Millbury 38 Senior Terry Peretti led all scorers with 19 points for the Warriors (4-0) in Sturbridge last night. Peretti was 3 of 3 from 3-point range, while Andrew Kazanovicz had eight points and 10 rebounds for Tantasqua. Carlos Sanchez led the Woolies (3-3) with 15 points. St. Mary's 52, North Brookfield 50 Senior co-captain John Barbale scored 20 points while classmate and co-captain Steinhard Renaud added 10 as the visiting Eagles (3-2) held on to win. The 2-3 Indians, who missed a shot to tie the game in the final moments, were led by 26 points from Rich McMaster. David Prouty 56, Oxford 50 Senior captain Mike Fazio scored a game-high 19 points while junior Andy Hunt added 11 points and 12 rebounds as the Panthers (2-3) won at home. Nick Aromando scored 11 points for the Pirates (1-5). St. Peter-Marian 59, Fitchburg 46 Nadir Tharpe's 21 points led the Guardians (3-2) to a road win. Harvey Grout led the Red Raiders (3-2) with 16 points. Milford 58, Leominster 50 Sophomore Paul Seaver hit a 3-pointer with 1:23 to play to extend the second-ranked Scarlet Hawks' lead to five points, en route to a win in Leominster. Seaver finished with 11 points, while Tyler Washington scored a game-high 18 points for Milford. Brandon Haschig and Tyler Strange each had 12 points for the Blue Devils (2-3). Leicester 58, Uxbridge 52 Junior forward Nolan Hammond scored 15 points to lift the host Wolverines (4-1) over the Spartans (2-4). Andrew Groth led all scorers with 18 points for Uxbridge. Oakmont 65, Nashoba 44 Senior guard Kyle Anderson poured in 21 points for the ninth-ranked Spartans (5-1) in a home victory. Cam Jones paced the Chieftains (1-5) with 16 points. Clinton 50, Bromfield 43 Senior Alex Rodriguez netted a game-high 13 points to lead the 10th-ranked Gaels (5-0) to a home win. Josh Freshoni led the Trojans (2-2) with 9 points. Narragansett 53, University Park 35 Eric Ramos had 22 points and 13 boards as the visiting Warriors (3-3) upended the Cougars (0-2). Jeff Grow joined Ramos in double figures with 13 points and 11 boards for Narragansett. Corey Monroe and Brandon Hampton scored 12 and 11 points, respectively, to pace UPC.
